Taking a little break here finally... well I started my new job, did "100" "friggin" hours of training!!!!!!!!! don't remember any of it cause I spent the whole time drawi...errr..taking notes....but somehow?... it didn't sink in???I hate working... I think I have come to that conclusion after all these years wondering what was wrong with me...I really need to win the lottery(I do have to play it first!lol!)but as many of you reminded me.... a job is just a way to have more money to buy more supplies... when I think of it that way it sound really good... Thanks for showing me that insightful prospect!
I have been going to bed really late though just so I could get some stuff done, its amazing what happens when its dark everyones asleep and you cant sleep... I get my best inspiration... then I REGRET IT IN THE MORNING WHEN i CAN'T GET UP!!!

Well I'm going to give you a peek at what I've been up to but I'm not finished with these....
Hope you like... I gotta run cause I got so much to do, my daughter is going back to school after a whole summer with her at home I'm having separation anxiety:(!!!! Have a great week everyone!!!!:D

Those are wonderful, I used to make a lot of clay things but I find clay terrible to work with, my hands got really dry and my nails cracked, they looked like builders hands, not pleasant!! lol ;)

Hi there, I love these they are so cute! I haven't been in for a visit at your blog for a while as I've been away on holidays so I've just had a look at how busy you've been, your paintings are beautiful! I love how your style has evolved since I first started following your blog.

Congratulations on your new job, I feel the same as you about work though. I've been lucky enough to work from home as my hubby and I have a gardening business and recently I became a partner and have taken over all the paper work and accounts extra, so it lets me work on my art at home too a little more guilt free. Only thing is I still hate doing the filing in my own house heheheh Hang in there :0)

Hi!
I found you through the artists' blog hop, and I love your work. Very, very pretty :)

I've got you saved to my favorites, but I can't see anywhere that I could "follow" you.

If you'd like to visit my blog, you're more than welcome.

Can't wait to see more of your work.

Gosh, as soon as I commented, I found that great big "FOLLOW" widget right near the post. Guess I was too busy looking at the lovely art :)

Patti,

Your clay dolls are adorable! I love all the colors of them. How fun. I have never tried clay. You make it look so magical. I see that we are both feeling a little separation anxiety from our babes in school. And a new job to top it off! Hang in there!

This summer is sure flying by, I am slowly working my way to my favorite blogs. I have no idea where the time is going!

That's funny about your training.
100 hours is crazy, hope you got lots of draw.....errr, notes taken, lol!
those look like dolls you are making, me likey!!

Working sucks, I know, but it's such a relief to have money coming in regularly. My job is about to go insane, I work at a University, and the kids are starting to move back to the campus. In a week or so, it will be pandemonium, lol!
good luck to both of us :-D
